The Semi-Automatic Capsule filling machine from AIRPAC
EXPORTS is a user-friendly machine with advanced
features. These features provide a high degree of
automation which, coupled with sound manufacturing
practice, result in higher levels of

Innovative features include
a. Automation of loading
station - This eliminates the need for continuous
operator attention as solid-state control circuitry
provides automatic stoppage of the loading table after
completion of one cycle, each of 60 strokes.
b. Automation of filling
station - This, again, is a revolutionary
feature that eliminates the need for continuous operator
attention. Motorised. swing-in and swing-back of the
drug hopper after one filling cycle results in reduced
operator fatigue.
c. Pneumatic closing station
- This utilises an electronic sensor which
activates a pneumatic cylinder to carry out the closing
operation resulting in ease of operation and reduced
operator fatigue. |

Vertical Closing - Vertical closing of filled
capsules reduces reject rates and powder spillage. This
is critical for pellet filling.This is achieved by having
two speeds for auger and nine speeds for filling table
operation.
e. Modular type hopper
provides easy and fast dismantling for cleaning. Change-over
times between batches are reduced.
f. Filled capsule
output capacity can be increased using our
ring loading station. This allows existing SA-9 installations
to be upgraded for extra production.
g. Large de-dusting
screen on the ejection chute provides for
easy separation of powder adhering to filled capsules.
Special features
available if required
a. Auto Closing. This feature allows complete automation
of the capsule closing operation. The loading rings
need only be placed in the closing section. The automatic
closing cycle completes the closing and ejection of
filled capsules in an enclosed chamber providing complete
operator safety and no manual effort.
b. Tablet Filling: A separate unit that fills tablets
into capsules or tablets along with powder/pellets
into the capsules can be provided for special applications.
c. Spout with nylon brushes: This feature is suitable
for pellet filling applications. It limits damage
to pellets, reduces spillage and gives better yields.
Other Features
- Special light weight loading rings greatly reduce
fatigue levels arising from continuous handling.
These loading rings are made from proprietary design
magnesium alloys and are the lightest available.
- Overall construction of the machine using stainless
steel, aluminium, brass and mild steel with powder
coating provides a high level of GMP.
- A safety electronic inter-lock is provided on
the guard for the loading section. This provides
operator safety.
- A choice of 18 speeds provides flexibility to
achieve target weight.
