"BPM" Filter Presses are available in wide

CONSTRUCTION
"BPM filter press consists of a Sturdy 304/316
Stainless Ste( chamber with top cover bolted with
eye bolts and wing nuts. A Filter cartridge assembly
consisting of Horizentally arranged plates, supporting
Screen, interlocking cups and
filter media is fitted in the chamber by a centre
bolt. A pump suitable to the product is connected
with the unit and mounted on a suitable stand with
castor wheels. Filter press can be supplied without
pump in case positive
pressure flow is already available. Where ever hot
filteration is required the unit can be provide with
jacketed chamber.
OPERATION
The Liquid to be filtered is forced in the chamber
by the
Transfer Pump, where it finds its way to the top of
the
filter media of each plate through circular opening
on the
side of the plates. Cinder pressure clear Liquide
passes
through the filter media leaving suspended particals
on
top of the filter. The clear filtrate runs down through
central channel formed by the interlocking cups and
exists through the outlet valve
